THE COMPANY
Our client is a specialist provider of Building Management Systems (BMS), controls and energy management solutions, supporting customers across commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, pharmaceutical sites, manufacturing plants and education campuses throughout Ireland.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Service Engineer to join their service team covering the Limerick and Clare region.
THE ROLE
The successful Service Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing and troubleshooting of Building Management Systems and associated HVAC control systems across a variety of customer sites.
This role offers excellent variety and would suit somebody who enjoys fault-finding, problem-solving and working directly with customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Servicing and maintaining Building Management Systems
- Diagnosing BMS, controls and HVAC-related faults
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance activities
- Responding to customer callouts and reactive maintenance requests
- Testing and commissioning control devices where required
- Working on HVAC controls, sensors, actuators and field devices
- Reviewing BMS graphics, trends and alarms
- Completing service documentation and technical reports
- Providing technical support and advice to customers
- Supporting energy optimisation and system improvement projects
- Maintaining strong customer relationships across the territory
THE PERSON
We are looking to speak with candidates who have experience within BMS, HVAC, controls, automation, electrical maintenance or building services environments.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Electrical, HVAC, Refrigeration or Building Services background
- BMS experience would be highly advantageous
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working on HVAC systems, controls or automation equipment
- Excellent customer-facing and communication abilities
- Understanding of control panels, sensors, actuators and related systems
- Ability to work independently and manage a territory
- Full clean driving licence
- Positive and proactive attitude

LOCATION
Ideally based in Limerick, Shannon, Ennis, Clarecastle, Sixmilebridge, Nenagh or surrounding areas , with responsibility for customer sites throughout the Limerick and Clare region.
