Contract Manager
Location: Carlow (some hybrid) | Full-Time | Permanent
Salary: €80,000 – €95,000 + Benefits

THE ROLE:
As Contract Manager, you'll take ownership of multiple projects from early design through to commissioning and handover, ensuring they are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.
- Manage the full lifecycle of water and wastewater infrastructure projects
- Lead and support a team of Project Managers across multiple live projects
- Oversee design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover
- Manage project programmes, resources and subcontractors
- Act as the main point of contact for clients and key stakeholders
- Monitor project financial performance, cashflow and variations
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality and contractual requirements
- Attend sites regularly to oversee progress, audits and project delivery
THE PERSON:
This role will suit an experienced Contracts Manager, Senior Project Manager or Project Director with a strong engineering background. Water industry experience is preferred, but candidates from utilities, energy, industrial or infrastructure project environments will also be considered.
- 15+ years' experience within Mechanical, Electrical or MEICA project delivery
- Previous experience managing multiple projects and project teams
- Strong commercial, contractual and financial management skills
- Experience managing subcontractors and site operations
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of water and wastewater projects would be a distinct advantage
- Comfortable working across office, site and client-facing environments
- Strong communication and reporting skills
