Our client is a globally recognised engineering organisation with a reputation for innovation, quality and technical excellence. Due to continued growth within their entrance systems division, they are seeking a Field Service Engineer to cover Dublin and the wider Leinster region.
Full product training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for candidates coming from maintenance, manufacturing, industrial, electrical or mechanical service backgrounds.
Role:
The successful engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing and repair of automatic door systems at customer sites throughout Leinster.
Responsibilities include:
- Carrying out planned preventive maintenance on automatic door systems.
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults.
- Servicing motors, drives, control panels, sensors and associated equipment.
- Troubleshooting breakdowns and responding to customer callouts.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with industry standards.
- Maintaining accurate service records and reports.
- Building strong relationships with customers and providing a high level of service.
- Participating in an on-call rota as required.

This role would suit candidates from a variety of maintenance and service engineering backgrounds including:
- Maintenance Electricians.
- Electrical Maintenance Technicians.
- Mechanical Maintenance Technicians.
- Electro-Mechanical Technicians.
- Industrial Electricians.
- Manufacturing Maintenance Engineers.
- Service Engineers with electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
Key requirements:
- Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working on motors, control panels, drives, sensors or industrial equipment.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and fault-find effectively.
- Customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Ability to work independently in a field-based environment.
Package:
- Base - €50,000 – €54,000
- Paid Door-to-Door Travel Time (typically worth €5,000–€10,000 per annum)
