Field Service Engineer
A leading international engineering company is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support customers across Munster. Role:
The successful engineer will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing automatic entrance and door systems across a broad customer base throughout Munster.
Duties include:
- Conducting planned maintenance visits.
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults.
- Repairing motors, control systems, safety devices and associated equipment.
- Attending breakdowns and emergency service calls.
- Ensuring maximum equipment uptime for customers.
- Completing service reports and maintaining accurate records.
- Delivering excellent customer support and technical advice.
- Working independently while managing a regional territory.

Suitable candidates may come from backgrounds such as:
- Electrical Maintenance Technician.
- Maintenance Electrician.
- Electro-Mechanical Technician.
- Mechanical Maintenance Technician.
- Industrial Maintenance Engineer.
- Manufacturing Technician.
- Service Engineer.
Requirements:
- Electro-mechanical maintenance or service experience.
- Experience working with electrical motors, control panels and industrial equipment.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Good customer-facing and communication abilities.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Full clean driving licence.
Package:
- Base Salary €50,000 – €54,000
- Paid Door-to-Door Travel Time (typically worth an additional €5,000–€10,000 annually)
