Field Service Engineer

Territory: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania


Salary:$70,000 – $78,000 + Bonus | Company Vehicle | Full Benefits

THE COMPANY:


Our client is a world-leading supplier of materials testing, measurement and quality assurance equipment used throughout manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, medical device and research environments.

As demand continues to increase throughout North America, they are looking to strengthen their engineering team with the appointment of an additional Field Service Engineer.


THE ROLE:


The successful Field Service Engineer will support customers through installation, maintenance, calibration and repair of advanced testing systems throughout the Northeast territory.


Key responsibilities include:

• Installation and commissioning of testing equipment

• Preventative maintenance and calibration activities

• Electronic and electro-mechanical troubleshooting

• Customer training and technical support

• Software and system support

• Preparation of calibration and compliance documentation

• Supporting equipment upgrades and modifications

• Managing customer relationships and service schedules

• Travel throughout the territory


THE PERSON:


We are looking to speak with candidates who have experience within field service engineering, industrial maintenance, automation, instrumentation, laboratory equipment or manufacturing environments. However, we are also open to candidates from related industries with strong technical troubleshooting skills.


The ideal candidate will have:


• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent technical experience

• Electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience

• Customer-facing engineering experience

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to travel extensively

• Authorization to work in the United States


THE PACKAGE:


• Base Salary: $70,000 – $78,000 DOE

• Bonus: Up to $5,000 annually
