Field Service Engineer


Territory: Houston, Texas

Salary:$70,000 – $78,000 + Bonus | Company Vehicle | Full Benefits

THE COMPANY:


Our client is a global engineering business specialising in advanced testing, measurement and quality assurance systems used across manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, research and medical industries.

Due to continued growth across North America, they are seeking a Field Service Engineer to support customers throughout Texas and the surrounding region.


THE ROLE:


The successful engineer will be responsible for maintaining, calibrating, commissioning and repairing sophisticated testing equipment while delivering excellent customer support.


Key responsibilities include:

• Installing and commissioning equipment

• Preventative maintenance and servicing

• Electrical, electronic and mechanical troubleshooting

• Customer training and software support

• Calibration services and compliance reporting

• Supporting system upgrades and modifications

• Maintaining service records and reports

• Providing expert technical advice to customers

• Territory management and scheduling


THE PERSON:


We are looking to speak with candidates who have experience within field service engineering, industrial maintenance, automation, calibration, instrumentation or manufacturing environments. However, we are also open to candidates from related industries with strong electro-mechanical fault-finding experience.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent technical experience

• Electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills

• Strong customer-facing abilities

• Experience working on technical equipment

• Ability to interpret engineering documentation

• Excellent communication skills

• Willingness to travel extensively

• Authorization to work in the United States


THE PACKAGE:


• Base Salary: $70,000 – $78,000 DOE

• Bonus: Up to $5,000 annually
