Field Service Engineer (Plumber)
Location: Dublin | Full-Time | Permanent
Salary: €50,000 – €55,000 DOE (Up to €60,000 for candidates with RGI) + Benefits

THE COMPANY:
A well-established technical services company providing installation, maintenance and repair services for commercial catering and kitchen equipment across Ireland.
With an excellent reputation built over many years, they support customers across hospitality, healthcare, education and commercial sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a Field Service Engineer to their Dublin service team.
THE ROLE:
This is a field-based maintenance role covering Dublin and surrounding counties. The majority of your time will be spent carrying out planned preventative maintenance, with some breakdown, repair and installation work.
You'll be working on a range of commercial kitchen and catering equipment, including both gas and electrical systems.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on commercial catering equipment
- Diagnose faults and complete repair work on customer sites
- Service gas and electrical kitchen equipment
- Attend breakdown callouts when required
- Support equipment installations and commissioning activities
- Complete service reports and maintenance documentation
- Build strong relationships with customers
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with industry standards
THE PERSON:
This role is ideally suited to a qualified Plumber with strong maintenance, repair and fault-finding experience. An RGI qualification would be highly advantageous, but the company is open to training the right candidate with the correct service mindset and technical ability.
They are also open to Electricians and other trade-qualified maintenance professionals with good electro-mechanical skills.
- Qualified Plumber with maintenance and repair experience
- RGI certification would be a major advantage but is not essential
- Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance work
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting ability
- Good customer-facing and communication skills
- Electricians with service and maintenance experience will also be considered
- Other trade-qualified engineers with strong electro-mechanical skills are welcome to apply
- Full driving licence required
