Health & Safety Specialist
Excellent opportunity to join a growing manufacturing organisation, as our client looks to appoint a Health & Safety Specialist to support and drive site-wide safety initiatives at their production facility.

With continued growth and investment across their operations, they are now seeking a Health & Safety Specialist to join their site team and help maintain the highest standards of safety and compliance.
Role:
Based on-site in Kildare, the successful Health & Safety Specialist will play a key role in developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety standards across a busy production environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Promoting a positive health and safety culture throughout the site
- Supporting the development and implementation of H&S policies and procedures
- Conducting site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses
- Monitoring compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation
- Delivering health and safety training and toolbox talks
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site
- Working closely with management and operational teams to improve safety performance
- Maintaining safety records, reports, and compliance documentation
- Assisting with regulatory inspections and audits
Person:
We are looking to speak with candidates who possess the following:
- Previous experience in a Health & Safety role within a manufacturing, food production, FMCG, or industrial environment
- Relevant Health & Safety qualification
- Strong knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation
- Experience conducting audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Ability to influence and engage employees at all levels of the business
Package:
- Salary: €50,000 – €60,000
