THE COMPANY:

Our client is a leading provider of specialist engineering solutions, delivering installation, commissioning and technical support services to customers across commercial, industrial and infrastructure sectors.

Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are seeking an Installation Engineer to join their Leinster-based team.

THE ROLE:

The successful Installation Engineer will be responsible for the installation, commissioning and handover of specialist equipment and systems across customer sites throughout Leinster.

Working closely with project teams, customers and subcontractors, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Installing and commissioning specialist equipment and systems

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and installation specifications

• Carrying out electrical and mechanical installation work

• Testing and commissioning equipment prior to handover

• Conducting fault-finding and troubleshooting during installation projects

• Liaising with customers, project teams and subcontractors

• Ensuring projects are completed safely and in line with company procedures

• Completing installation and commissioning documentation

• Supporting site acceptance testing and project handovers

• Providing technical support to customers where required

THE PERSON:

We are looking to speak with candidates who have experience within installation engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, building services, automation, industrial equipment or construction-related environments.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous installation, commissioning or service engineering experience

• Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude

• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documentation

• Experience working on customer sites

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and customer-facing abilities

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects

• Full clean driving licence
