THE ROLE:
This LGV Mechanic position is focused on maintaining a fleet of commercial vans and passenger vehicles, ensuring vehicles remain safe, reliable and available for customers.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
- Conduct vehicle inspections and safety checks
- Support vehicle preparation for customer hire
- Complete maintenance and service documentation
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and diagnostic issues
- Assist with occasional breakdown repairs where required
- Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards
THE PERSON:
This role will suit an LGV Mechanic, Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician or qualified Motor Mechanic looking for a stable workshop-based position.
- Qualified LGV Mechanic, Motor Mechanic or Vehicle Technician
- Experience servicing commercial vans and passenger vehicles
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience carrying out preventative maintenance and repairs
- Good understanding of modern vehicle systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Full driving licence preferred

LOCATION:
Ideally based in Dublin, Meath, Kildare or Wicklow, but open to candidates within a reasonable commute of the Dublin workshop.
