Maintenance Manager

Role:
The successful Maintenance Manager will be based on-site in Kildare and will take responsibility for leading the maintenance function across a busy production facility.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing a team of maintenance technicians, fitters, and electricians
- Planning and overseeing preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance activities
- Managing and directing the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department
- Driving equipment reliability and minimising downtime across production
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and engineering projects
- Managing maintenance schedules, resources, and budgets
- Ensuring all maintenance work is completed safely and efficiently
- Providing leadership, training, and development to the maintenance team
- Working closely with production and operations teams to maximise plant performance
Person:
We are looking to speak with candidates who possess the following:
- Previous management experience, or strong supervisory/team leader experience within a manufacturing environment
- Ideally qualified as a Mechanical Fitter or Maintenance Electrician, although other relevant engineering backgrounds will be considered
- Strong maintenance experience within production or manufacturing environments
- Proven leadership and people management skills
- Strong organisational and planning abilities
- Ability to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives
