THE COMPANY:
Our client is a well-established provider of energy, mechanical and building services solutions, supporting commercial, residential and public sector customers throughout Ireland.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Maintenance Plumber (RGI) to join their Dublin-based service team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with a strong reputation for customer service, technical excellence and employee development.
THE ROLE:
The successful Maintenance Plumber will be responsible for carrying out service, maintenance and repair work across a variety of customer sites throughout Dublin.
This role requires a strong understanding of heating systems, plumbing installations and fault diagnosis, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high operational standards.
Key responsibilities include:
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on domestic and commercial heating systems
• Diagnosing and repairing plumbing and heating faults
• Servicing gas boilers and associated plant equipment
• Performing breakdown repairs and emergency call-outs when required
• Inspecting heating systems and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Completing service reports and compliance documentation
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with industry regulations
• Providing technical advice and support to customers
• Maintaining strong customer relationships across the territory
• Supporting wider energy efficiency and maintenance projects
THE PERSON:
We are looking to speak with candidates who have experience within plumbing, heating, facilities management, building services or mechanical maintenance environments.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Qualified Plumber
• RGI Registration
• Experience servicing and maintaining heating systems
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience working within commercial, residential or facilities environments
• Excellent customer-facing and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a territory
• Strong health & safety awareness
• Full clean driving licence
