Project Engineer
Excellent opportunity to join a global manufacturing organisation, as our client looks to appoint a Project Engineer to support the delivery of capital investment projects at their Dublin facility.

Our client is a market-leading manufacturer with a significant presence in Ireland and globally. Operating within a highly automated production environment, they continue to invest heavily in site expansion, process improvements, and infrastructure upgrades.
As part of ongoing growth and investment plans, they are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join their engineering team and take ownership of a range of capital projects.
Role:
Based in Dublin, the successful Project Engineer will be responsible for managing CAPEX projects from concept through to completion, working closely with production, engineering, contractors, and senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing capital projects throughout the full project lifecycle
- Supporting project planning, budgeting, and execution activities
- Coordinating contractors, suppliers, and engineering resources
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget
- Preparing project documentation, specifications, and reports
- Managing equipment installations, upgrades, and facility improvements
- Supporting commissioning, validation, and handover activities
- Identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities
- Ensuring compliance with site standards, safety procedures, and engineering best practices
- Working closely with operations and maintenance teams to minimise disruption during project execution
Person:
This role will suit candidates with a strong project engineering background within manufacturing, industrial, pharmaceutical, FMCG, or process environments.
- Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Process, Manufacturing, or related Engineering discipline
- Proven experience managing CAPEX projects is essential
- Experience delivering projects within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong contractor management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Good understanding of project planning, budgeting, and risk management
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and technical decision-making skills
