Electrical Project Engineer

Location: Carlow | Full-Time | Permanent

Salary: €50,000 – €65,000 + Benefits

THE ROLE:

Working closely with the Project Manager, you'll support the successful delivery of water and wastewater projects from initial design through to installation and commissioning.

  • Support the delivery of projects through design, procurement and construction phases
  • Work on water and wastewater treatment projects across Ireland
  • Update technical drawings, reports and project documentation
  • Prepare method statements, risk assessments and technical submissions
  • Coordinate site activities, labour and equipment requirements
  • Monitor health & safety, quality and project progress on site
  • Carry out regular site visits and inspections throughout project delivery
  • Assist with project budgets, costs and reporting


THE PERSON:

This role will suit an Electrical Project Engineer, Site Engineer or electrically qualified professional looking to develop within project delivery. Candidates from water, utilities, pharmaceutical, food & beverage, manufacturing or building services environments will all be considered.

  • Electrical qualification or electrical engineering background
  • Experience as a Project Engineer, Electrical Engineer or Site Engineer
  • Exposure to industrial, process or utilities projects
  • Experience within water or wastewater projects would be advantageous
  • Building Services experience will also be considered
  • Strong understanding of health & safety and site operations
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Comfortable working across office and site environments
