QA/QC Engineer
Location: Co. Wicklow | Full-Time | Permanent
Salary: €40,000 – €50,000 DOE

The Role
This QA/QC Engineer role will focus on maintaining quality standards across manufacturing operations, ensuring products meet specifications, performance requirements and industry standards.
- Carry out inspections, testing and quality checks throughout production
- Monitor manufacturing processes and identify quality issues
- Complete QA/QC documentation and maintain accurate records
- Investigate defects and recommend corrective actions
- Work closely with production and management teams to resolve quality concerns
- Support staff training and promote quality best practice across the business
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and process optimisation
- Ensure products meet required safety, performance and compliance standards
The Person
This role is open to candidates from manufacturing or construction quality backgrounds. While precast concrete experience would be ideal, transferable experience from other heavy manufacturing environments will also be considered.
- Background in QA/QC, Quality Engineering, Quality Inspection or a similar role
- Experience within construction materials, precast concrete, manufacturing, fabrication or heavy industry
- Knowledge of concrete products is advantageous but not essential
- Candidates from steel fabrication, metal manufacturing or similar environments are encouraged to apply
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working closely with production and operational teams
- Good communication and reporting skills
