THE COMPANY:
Our client is a well-established supplier and service provider within the heating and energy market, supporting residential and commercial customers throughout Ireland.
Due to continued growth within their service division, they are seeking an RGI Service Boiler Engineer to join their field-based engineering team covering South Dublin and surrounding areas. The business continues to invest heavily in service capability, technical training and customer support, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced heating engineer looking for long-term career stability.
THE ROLE:
The successful RGI Service Boiler Engineer will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and supporting a range of domestic and commercial heating systems across customer sites.
This role is primarily focused on service and warranty work, with occasional repair and fault-finding activities on existing systems. You'll work independently across your territory while delivering a high standard of customer service and technical support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Servicing domestic and commercial boiler systems
- Diagnosing and repairing gas heating faults
- Carrying out warranty and maintenance work
- Performing preventative maintenance visits
- Troubleshooting heating and hot water systems
- Completing service documentation and reports
- Providing technical support and advice to customers
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with industry regulations and RGI standards
- Maintaining strong customer relationships throughout the territory
- Participating in ongoing technical training programmes
THE PERSON:
We are looking to speak with candidates who have experience within domestic heating, commercial heating, plumbing, building services or facilities maintenance environments.
The ideal candidate will have:
- RGI Registration
- Qualified Plumber or Heating Engineer background
- Proven boiler service and maintenance experience
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience working with domestic and/or commercial gas systems
- Excellent customer-facing communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a field-based role
- Full clean driving licence
